    VCU senior guard Eric Maynor (23.2 points, 5.9 assists) is trying to become the second player to lead the CAA in scoring and assists, and the second to lead the conference in assists three times.

    "I can't wait until we play them without him," UNCW coach Benny Moss said.

    Northeastern's Jose Juan Barea (2005-06) is the only player who has led the league in scoring and assists in the same season. Delaware's Mike Slattery led the conference in assists from 2003-05. - Tim Pearrell
