NEWARK, Del. -- Quanitra Hollingsworth had eight rebounds, surpassing the 1,000 mark for her career (1,006), to lead Virginia Commonwealth University to a 70-63 CAA victory over Delaware yesterday.
Hollingsworth and La'Tavia Rorie (six rebounds, five steals) scored 15 points apiece for the Rams, who sit in a three-way tie for first place in the conference along with James Madison and Drexel.
Kita Waller recorded 14 points, Radoslava Bachvarova had 11 and Jennifer Lane added four assists.
Tesia Harris paced Delaware with 21 points, finishing 5 for 5 from the line.
